Middle and High School Science Email Phone: 715.275.3225 x2300 Hello! I'm Ms. Schilling Elcho middle school's science teacher.
This is my 5th year at Elcho school. I graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2015, making Elcho my first school in my career. Every year has been different and an amazing learning experience. Since starting here, I have moved to Elcho and have become more a part of the community. A few of my favorite activities are: riding my atv, swimming, snowshoeing, camping, fishing (though I never catch anything bigger than my hand), playing board games, sewing and crafting, and cuddling with my two cats.
This year I will also be teaching high school science, in addition to middle school. One of the classes that I will be teaching is a newly created STEAM class. STEAM requires students to use skills from science, technology, engineering, art, and math in order to solve various problems. The class is a project and small group based class and requires critical thinking AND the ability to think outside of the box. We are really excited to see what the students will do in this new class.
Outside of teaching, I coach middle school volleyball. Though this year will be very different from years past, I look forward to the new season and working with the girls on the team.
Go Hornets!
