My name is Amanda Springstroh, aka: Ms. Amanda. I am proud to be a Hornet and teaching 4K here in Elcho. I have been here since 2022 and previously taught a variety of ages from infant/toddler childcare to 8th grade since 2005. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education and hold a Wisconsin lifetime license for early childhood through 8th grade.
My goal is to give your child the best first year of school possible and a solid foundation for learning. I think of 4K as "old school" Kindergarten. Not only do they learn the A,B,C's and 1, 2 3's, but also how to get along with each other and handle social situations appropriately. In other words, everything needed to be successful in school and in the future. You can expect consistency and routine in my classroom, as well as open communication and knowledge of upcoming dates and events.
In the afternoons, I teach Math Interventions to elementary groups during Hornet Time. I enjoy spending time with the older students, and love bringing the "aha" moments to math in the classroom.
