Hi everyone! My name is Mrs. Patz, and I'm proud to be the 6th-8th grade math teacher here at Elcho. This is my fourth year as part of the Hornet family, and my seventh year teaching overall!
I'm passionate about helping students build confidence in math and discover how it connects to the world around them. My favorite part is seeing those "light bulb" moments in the classroom.
I graduated from Coleman High School in 2016 and attended St. Norbert College where I completed my bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood/Early Adolescence Education and a minor in English Language Arts (ELA). I have a teaching background in math, ELA, and social studies.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, fishing, hunting, camping, and watching movies. My husband and I welcomed our son, Briar, in August of 2024, and that has been the best title I have ever received!
I'm excited for the 2026-2027 school year and all the learning and growth it will bring! Go Hornets!
