I was born and raised in Minocqua, WI. I earned a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. This led me to Idaho for a Conservation Internship with AmeriCorps. After returning to Wisconsin, I worked in wilderness therapy, joined the US Forest Service, and later put my engineering background to use as a foreman for a post-frame construction company. I’ve since discovered my true calling as an educator. In my free time I spend time outdoors, and I have been enjoying life as a father and a husband.
