I'm Molli Morrison, I am the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) here at Elcho! You can find me in the district on Mondays, Wednesdays, and typically every other Friday. On the days I'm not in Elcho, I'm working in the White Lake School District as their SLP as well!
A little about me:
I was born and raised in the Elcho area and graduated from Elcho in 2017! I went on to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from UW- Eau Claire and a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from University of South Carolina- Colombia. I felt excited and fortunate that the opportunity to return to Elcho in a professional capacity to serve as their SLP was presented to me in 2024 and continue to enjoy it each day! I'm passionate about helping our students find their voice, building confidence, and communicating with others. I strive to be an advocate for those who use more than their voice to communicate and creating awareness of the different communication tools and strategies that allow students to express more than just their wants and needs, but to also share their thoughts, ideas, and personality. It's very rewarding to be a part of students' growth and to help them feel successful, understood, and empowered both in and out of the classroom.
When I'm not working I enjoy crocheting, being outside, taking my dog, Kimber, on walks (somedays I feel like she's walking me haha), fishing during both summer and winter seasons, spending time with my family, and watching TV shows and movies that I'll eventually attempt to integrate into regular conversations with anyone and everyone.
