SOCIAL STUDIES AND SCIENCE
This year I am excited to be teaching all middle school science and social studies classes.
We are each a part of the unfolding story of humanity. History tells us much about who we are and why things are they way they are. We also study the interactions, behaviors, patterns, and decisions people make in regards to culture, government, and economics.
Science is our endeavor to understand the world as it's been made using the senses and minds with which we are bestowed. In science, we will explore how scientists investigate life, the planet, forces like gravity, and the solar system.

About Me
I grew up among the hills and valleys of southwest Wisconsin. I attended UW-La Crosse where I completed my bachelor's degree in Social Studies Eduction with minors in History and Political Science.
I enjoy the outdoors, especially hiking, biking, and kayaking. You can often find me working on home improvement projects or our cars. My favorite books to read are cultural nonfiction books such as C.S. Lewis and fun science fiction.
The last several years of teaching, coaching football, advising Student Council have been a joy. Thank you for making my wife and I part of the Elcho Community. Please contact me if you have any questions about these programs or to discuss your student's education in social studies or science.
