PK-12 General/Choral/Instrumental Music Teacher Email Phone: 715.275.3225 ext 1891 Hello, my name is Mary Beth Brendemuehl and I am the Director of Music Activities at the Elcho School District.
My teaching responsibilities for the district include High School Band, High School Choir, High School General Music/Drumming, Middle School Band, Middle School Choir, Fifth grade Beginning Band, 4K-5 Elemental Music.
I attained my K-12 education at the school at which I am currently employed, Elcho, and have many excellent teachers to thank for my excellent foundation. I earned my bachelors degree in PK-12 Choral, Instrumental, General Music from UW-Green Bay. I am a lifelong learner and attend workshops through the Center for Music Education in Madison, attend Orff workshops sponsored by UW-Stevens Point and the North Central Orff Association.
I am an active member of WSMA, WMEA, AOSA and WCDA. I am a master adjudicator for WSMA, adjudicating solo and ensemble festivals and large group band and choir festivals. I perform in the Rhinelander Area Community Band, the Wausau Community Band and GB's Dance Band. I also provide music at area churches.
Music is an important part of my life and I enjoy sharing the gift of music with my students and everyone I encounter. I share my love of music through the use of drumming, singing, and playing instruments with them as well as arranging fieldtrips for students to experience performance groups, such as the UW Madison Varsity Band or having students perform in the choirs at Singing In Wisconsin or the Dorian Choir Festival in Decorah, Iowa.
I have two wonderful children, Luke and Jaxon, a husband, Jeff and a black lab, Little Bear.
